While we celebrate our 104 birthday, we want you to join us under the dome for a day of speakers, education, and action around strengthening our democracy. We're tackling big things like the National Popular Vote, gun safety, tribal sovereignty, and money in politics.

Advocacy Day is expected to begin at 9:30 AM and conclude at 3:30 PM. In the morning, we will hear from speakers and have opportunities to engage your legislators. In the afternoon, we will have tea at the Blaine House and a panel discussion on gun safety.

We'll be meeting in room 102 on the lower level of the Burton M. Cross Office Building. The quickest way to access the room is by entering the doors that face Capitol Street. Refer to the map below for where we'll meet and where to park:
I want to talk to my legislator about important issues, but it's my first time. Can you help?
Lobbying your legislator for the first time can be a nerve wracking experience! We're happy to match you with a seasoned advocate who can assist you as you talk to your representatives.
Do I have to be a League member to attend?
No, you do not have to be a League member to attend, though we'd love to have you! Anyone and everyone are invited. Advocacy Day is a great way to get hands-on experience with lobbying your legislator.
Where can I park at the State House?
Available parking areas are shown on this map. Lots D and E will be the closest to the Cross Building. Lots A and B and sections of Lot C (per signage in Lot C) are reserved for Legislators. Note that the State Office Building Parking Garage (located at 93 Sewall St) is closed until further notice.
