LWV-Downeast hosts a monthly radio program on democracy in cooperation with WERU FM. This month, we will talk about voter participation in marginalized communities: structural/ systemic/ institutional barriers to voting, and motivational barriers to voting.  Special Guests: Maulian Dana, Penobscot Nation Ambassador; Michael Kebede, Policy Counsel, ACLU of Maine; and Chryl Laird, Assistant Professor of Government, Bowdoin College.  Learn more here.
